We believe that fashion should be fun and accessible…Fashion forward, plus size clothes shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg simply because they are designed for a size 14+ figure. Regardless of whether a woman is happy at her current size of if she wants to make a change in the future, Sealed With a Kiss Designs believes clothes should flatter a woman as she is. We offer our fashions direct to customers on our website, and wholesale for boutiques and retailers nationally and internationally.
Our company was created in 2007 by Brad Capo. Surrounded by women on a daily basis, he quickly observed that something was missing from the lives of his loved ones. He noted that many of the women he knows, their friends and family included, had a hard time finding stylish clothing over a certain size. Challenged to find a solution to their dilemma, he learned as much as he could about the blossoming plus size fashion marketplace.
With the idea planted firmly in his head, a single kiss set him into action! One day, his mother planted a lipstick kiss on his pre-teen daughter's cheek. It sparked a huge brainstorm. Shortly after that, Sealed With a Kiss Designs was born!
Since its inception, we’ve endeavored to create stylish clothes at a price women can afford. Our company has an international customer base that includes Asia and Australia. In 2009, we added a wholesale component to our growing business, allowing boutiques and retailers around the world to carry our designs and reach an even wider base of style-thirsty shoppers.
About the Clothes
Sealed With a Kiss Designs creates clothes with a real plus size figure in mind. The majority of our fashions are available in size 1x – 6x. While some companies equate trend to junior sizing, we cut our clothes to a true woman's’ size. We fit our clothes on actual plus size women. When samples arrive at our warehouse, we play with them and try them on to see how we can improve the piece for our customer. Should a tie be longer? A sleeve be shorter? Does a neckline show too much or just enough? We consider all the details when producing our fashions. In order to make the fashions our customers want, we listen to them. Through surveying and dialogue, we learn just what our customers want to buy. Dresses with prints? Shoulder-baring styles or clothes that offer arm coverage? We design with our target shopper in mind!
